Hola from Mazatlan. As I write, I assure you I've tried many times to write an update. I realize a lot of you aren't on Facebook, so you will not be able to see our updates. It's been a hard few weeks, each day here passes by quicker each week. We both feel if we could just pause time, that would allow for more to get accomplished. Although, we know this is not realistic. Praise items! Darryl's back and arms are doing better. After four treatments at the massage clinic, and many prayers … [Read more...] about Gaining Strides.
One Month Update!
It's very hard to believe that we've been here for nearly one month. A lot has been happening and the balance with life, ministry stuff, and rest has given us a good shake. We knew it would be busy, but somehow, you can never prepare yourself. We feel that it's been important to try to maintain as much of our Canadian lifestyle while we are in Mazatlan. This means that we set an alarm, we exercise, we work, and we play a bit when there's time. We are at the the church nearly every day to … [Read more...] about One Month Update!
Our Update After Three Weeks In Mazatlan.

Such an early riser! 7:00 am Ben wakes up! See the … [Read more...] about Life as we know it: A bit of what we are doing here in Mazatlan.
No Hassle Fresh Shrimp Ceveche

Perhaps it might show up at your New Years party? Yep, your guests will thank me. Fresh Shrimp Ceviche 3 cups cooked chopped shrimp. 2 cups chopped cucumber 1.5 cups chopped onion. Red or white is fine. 2 cups of chopped fresh tomato lots of limes for juicing. I used about 6 key limes. 1 large handful of … [Read more...] about No Hassle Fresh Shrimp Ceveche
